Three University of Gdańsk scientists received the NAWA Bekker Program scholarships.
Dr hab. Tomasz Besta, from the Faculty of Social Sciences, project titled:„Normatywne i nienormatywne działania zbiorowe: tożsamość, emocje i wymiary kulturowe” [Normative and innormative collective actions: identity, emotions, cultural dimensions], Flinders University, Australia
Dr Anna Klimaszewska, Faculty of Law and Administration, project titled:„Dla europejskiej historii prawa handlowego nie wykluczającej Polski” [For the European history (not excluding Poland) of commercial law], Université Paris II Panthéon Assas, France
Dr inż. Aleksandra Pieczyńska, Faculty of Chemistry, project titled: „Nanostruktury węglowe funkcjonalizowane nanocząsteczkami TiO2/węglik metalu lub WO3/węglik metalu– synteza i właściwości” [Carbon nanostructures functionalized with TiO2/ metal carbide or WO3/ metal carbide nanoparticles – synthesis and properties], Barcelona University, Spain
The Bekker scholarship covers the scientists’ cost of stay at the renowned foreign scientific institutions to hold a postdoctoral internship, conduct scientific research or acquire materials for scientific work . 126 laureates were selected during the latest edition of the program , three of them came from the University of Gdańsk.
