Science Popularizer 2019 finalist - dr Wojciech Glac

Finalists have been announced in Poland's oldest and most prestigious competition for scientists, institutions and social activists whose passion is sharing knowledge with people outside the academic community. Science Promoter 2019 nominee in the ‘Scientist’ category, dr Wojciech Glac is a physiologist and neuroscientist at the Department of Animal and Human Physiology, Faculty of Biology, University of Gdańsk. 22 candidates were shortlisted by the jury from as many as 109 submissions. The winners will be announced on 28 February during the Final Gala of the Competition.

Winners will be awarded in the final categories: scientist, animator, team, institution, media and the main category whose winner will hold the title of Science Promoter of 2019. In addition, the editors of the Science in Poland website will grant the Tomasz Trzciński award.
