In the face of Russian military aggression against Ukraine, we are starting a fundraising campaign to help students and academics from Ukraine who, fleeing the war, will become members of the University of Gdańsk academic community.

Currently, we have over a hundred Ukrainian students and staff in our community. They are our friends, neighbours, colleagues at work and University. Let us express our solidarity in this difficult moment of Ukraine's struggle to preserve the sovereignty and integrity of its state, and let us give our support.

We will use the donated funds to finance scholarships - the cost of one scholarship is approximately PLN 15 000 per year - and to provide financial and material assistance to students and staff of the University of Gdańsk.

Let us help them survive this most difficult time! Our thoughts and hearts are with Ukraine!
