VI National Shipping and Logistics Competition at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk

The second-level competitions of the sixth edition of the National Shipping and Logistics Competition are taking place today, March 4, 2022. 812 participants from all voivodeships have qualified for them. All of them are competing for a transcript of the Faculty of Economics of UG and other attractive prizes.

The competition is organised by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk for secondary school students interested in transport, logistics and forwarding, in particular those studying the following professions: freight forwarder, logistics technician, port and terminal operations technician, and warehouseman.

The event is becoming more and more popular every year. The first stage of the current edition attracted 5462 students from 275 schools (4,399 participants). 812 participants from all provinces qualified for the second stage of the competition.

The participants compete for the transcript of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk - the main prize and other enticing rewards. The main prizes for winners are sponsored by the shipping company Nautiqus sp. z o.o. and the TD Publishing House.

The results of the second level competition and the shortlist of finalists will be known by March 14. The finalists will be invited to the central competition, which will be held on April 7-8, 2022 at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk in Sopot.

 

The National Freight Forwarding and Logistics Competition is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science as part of the competition for the organisation and conduct of Competitions and tournaments in the school years 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022.
