Rector of the University of Gdańsk, Professor Jerzy Piotr Gwizdała issued an announcement on the University of Gdańsk Operating Principles until 30 September 2020:

The restrictions introduced by the University of Gdańsk Rector’s Regulation No 20/R/20 of 10 March 2020 on preventing the spread of coronavirus SARS-Cov-2 (with amendments) remains in force. Operation-related dates at the University specified in point 2 of the announcement of 15 May 2020 have been prolonged as follows:

The restrictions introduced by the University of Gdańsk Rector’s Regulation No 20/R/20 of 10 March 2020 on preventing the spread of coronavirus SARS-Cov-2 (with amendments) remains in force. Lifting of restrictions shall not take place before:

• 30 September 2020 for open events: conferences, symposiums, lectures, artistic performances and other events organized by UG and third parties at UG sites;
• 30 September 2020 for official foreign business trips participation in domestic conferences of staff, doctoral students, regular students and post-graduate students;
• 30 September 2020 for foreign guests’ visits at UG.

Accommodation at student dormitories during the summer brake takes place according to the Ordinance no 5/K/20 of the Chancellor of the University of Gdańsk of 26 June 2020 on temporary accommodation at UG student dormitories.
