The Minister of Science and Higher Education concluded the ninth edition of the Diamond Grant Program competition. Natalia Miernik, a student of the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography at the University of Gdańsk, was named one of the winners of the competition.
Natalia Miernik’s, UG student, project entitled ‘The influence of underwater Zostera marina meadows on macrofauna bioturbation activity under different temperature conditions’ received almost PLN 220 thousand in funding under the Diamond Grant Program.
The program, addressed to 5-year Master’s degree course students and graduates of BA courses, supports career development of students with outstanding academic achievements, conducting highly advanced research.
In this edition of the program, Minister Wojciech Murdzek selected 69 winners out of 173 submitted applications.
