An agreement signed between the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk and the Gdańsk Autonomous High School (GLA) concerned cooperation to improve the quality of economic and financial education among GLA students. 

The agreement was signed by the Principal of the Gdańsk Autonomous High School, mgr Monika Biblis, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk, dr hab. Monika Bąk, prof. UG.

The agreement provides for the patronage of classes with an economic profile and the organisation of educational classes for GLA students in the fields of economics and finance, entrepreneurship, business and management, which are the core areas of the Faculty of Economics UG research and teaching activities. The cooperation will also involve GLA students in a number of activities and undertakings of a didactic and scientific nature, as well as support in the didactic sphere for students who are exceptionally gifted in the field of economic sciences.

Under the agreement, classes conducted by research and teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk will begin in September.

The cooperation is coordinated by the Deputy Dean for Development and Co-operation with the Socio-Economic Environment at the Faculty of Economics, dr Magdalena Markiewicz.
