Erasmus+ is the European Union's flagship programme supporting the internationalisation of universities through the mobility of students and academic and administration staff. It enables participants to spend a semester studying at a foreign university, carry out international research projects, establish cooperation between academic centres, or participate in international training and internships.
‘Thanks to the Erasmus programme, our university has gained rich experience in the international mobility of students and employees, as well as in building cooperation between universities in the European arena,' says Magdalena Sawicz, Director of the International Cooperation and Internationalisation Office. ‘When I think about the future of Erasmus, I wish the programme would continue to be a symbol of cooperation and unity in diversity. I dream that in a few years, students will have the opportunity to study at several European universities, moving between campuses, and the micro-credentials gained there will provide the possibility of obtaining a European diploma.’
