The University of Gdańsk Library invites everyone who is thinking about a research career, wants to keep up to date with publishing trends, and feels like playing a board game to the Open Access Games Day.

The event will take place on October 23, 2024, at the University of Gdańsk Library Gallery from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m..

The Games Day aims to get participants interested in modern trends in publishing and research data management and to promote open science through interactive board games. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in board games with an open science theme, including FAIR Factor, where scientific impact is gained by applying the FAIR principles, and DMPolly, whose theme is research data security in scientific projects. Games inspired by Taboo, Dobble and Memory will also be available.
