The recent flooding in southern Poland caused huge losses. Among the students at the University of Gdańsk, there are some who have been affected by this drama. To support those affected, the Center for Student and Doctoral Student Activity at UG is organising a collection as part of the Siepomaga Foundation campaign.
‘We receive numerous messages in which students describe their difficulties,’ say representatives of the Center for Student and Doctoral Student Activity UG (CASiD).
‘We need building materials, household appliances and funds to rebuild our and our grandmother's flat, as well as garages that collapsed,’ wrote one of the students affected by the September flood. There are many such people. Hence the CASiD initiative.
The funds collected will be used for what is needed most now: learning equipment, building materials, household appliances, furniture, as well as psychological support.
Everyone can make a contribution to the collection on the Siepomaga Foundation website.
Even the smallest amount can help students rebuild their lives, giving them hope to continue their studies with peace of mind.
We encourage you to help our students in these difficult times. Together, we can make a change!
