The Small Grants Programme - UGrants enables you to receive funding for preliminary research and preparatory activities aimed at planning a research project and raising funds for its implementation.
- 'The Small Grants Programme - UGrants has been designed to meet the needs of researchers at different stages of their careers - from PhD students to young scientists to advanced researchers. We want to encourage researchers to plan research projects and obtain funding for their implementation. A research project intensifies scientific work, often allows to establish a research group and develop cooperation with other scientists,' - says prof. Wiesław Laskowski, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research. - 'I congratulate all laureates. I hope that the support will result in interesting research projects that will make the University of Gdańsk proud,' - he adds.
In the settled competitions, 133 applications were submitted (Start - 69 applications, First - 47 applications, Advanced - 10 applications, open competition Bridge - 7 applications). The competition committee, with the help of external experts, qualified 86 applications for financing for the total amount of PLN 860 000.
The UGrants programme is one of the elements implemented under the IDUB programme, the aim of which is to obtain the status of a Research University.
