RV Ocenograf left Kiel port. New researchers on board

In the evening, on June 4th scientific vessel Oceanograf left Kiel port. During the next part of the cruise the crew will mostly conduct research connected to work package three - comparative studies of microplastics in European coastal waters. In the next few days the ship will enter the North SEA and then the English Channel, but first it needs to pass Kiel Channel. 

 

New chapter of the cruise also means a change of staff. Dr. hab. Agata Weydmann-Zwolicka, prof. UG, dr hab. Katarzyna Smolarz, prof. UG, dr. hab. Katarzyna Łukawska-Matuszewska, prof. UG and Jenny Fredrich, phd student from Kiel University. Their place was taken by Jerome Goslin, researcher from Ifremer Brest, dr. hab. Adam Sokołowski, prof. UG, Kseniia Adrieieva phd student from University of Odessa and Ryszard Kuczyński from University of Gdańsk.
