The University High School starts the 2023/2024 school year

Students and teachers of the Pawel Adamowicz University High School in Gdańsk (ULO) celebrated their return to school! The official start of the 2023/2024 school year on September 4, 2023, was also attended by representatives of Fahrenheit University, including the Rector of the University of Gdańsk, prof. dr hab. Piotr Stepnowski and the Rector of the Gdańsk University of Technology, prof. dr hab. Krzysztof Wilde.

The inauguration was opened by ULO Principal Waldemar Kotowski, who presented the school's achievements in the past school year. He referred to the school's location, cooperation with Fahrenheit Universities, projects, competitions, Olympiads, meetings, and international cooperation. He also talked about the social responsibility of education at ULO and presented the results of this year's recruitment process, as well as profiles of Gdańsk lecturers who are patrons of particular grades.

Best wishes for the new school year were conveyed to the whole ULO community by Professor Krzysztof Wilde and Professor Piotr Stepnowski. On behalf of the Pomeranian School Superintendent, Renata Matys, the inspector, read a letter of greetings. Then Waldemar Kotowski read out greetings from MEP Magdalena Adamowicz and the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Mieczysław Struk.

The first dose of knowledge in the new school year was provided by dr Magdalena Mazur-Milecka from PG, who delivered an inaugural lecture on artificial intelligence. The ceremony ended with a performance by a vocal group of ULO’s students under the direction of Joanna Herrmann.
