Representatives of the University of Gdańsk and the University of Warmia and Mazury discussed activities related to the implementation of the EDM system during a training meeting.
On April 4, the University of Gdańsk held a training meeting for representatives of the University of Warmia and Mazury concerning the Electronic Document Management system. On the part of the University of Gdańsk, the meeting was attended by the Chancellor of the University of Gdańsk dr hab. inż. Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek, prof. UG, the Bursar of the University of Gdańsk Marzena Wojtaszko, the Director of the University of Gdańsk Archives dr Monika Płuciennik, the Head of the General Office of the University of Gdańsk Mateusz Krzych, the Director of the IT Centre of the University of Gdańsk Magdalena Bugaj and representatives of the EDM Competence Centre.
The University of Warmia and Mazury was represented by Vice-Chancellor for Administrative Affairs Adriana Faraś-Bąk, Bursar Agnieszka Choma-Meus, Deputy Bursar for Finance and Accounting Beata Wolak, Chancellery Coordinator Katarzyna Kuźmińska, Rector's Office Manager Weronika Turolska and employee Paulina Borcun. representatives of the UWM Archives: Anna Wójcicka and Barbara Dąbkowska-Sówka, and representatives of the UWM Information Centre: Andrzej Rydzewski, Marcin Grabowski, and Dawid Podhajski.
- I am very pleased that you have come in such large numbers. I work with the University of Gdańsk on a daily basis in the scientific field, so I know that cooperation between the University of Gdańsk and the University of Warmia and Mazury takes place at various scientific and research levels. This makes me all the more pleased and pleased that today we will be strengthening cooperation also on the administrative level. Together, we will be able to solve substantive problems related to clerical activities, document archiving and, of course, the implementation of the EDM, which are successfully implemented at the University of Gdańsk - the guests were welcomed by Chancellor UG dr hab. inż. Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek, prof. UG.
- Thank you for the opportunity to meet you. We are at the next stage of EDMS implementation. A year ago, we were at the University of Gdańsk at the beginning of the system implementation and we have a lot of questions for you, hence our request to meet in a more working dimension - said the Vice-Chancellor for Administration UWM Adriana Faraś-Bąk.
The training part of the meeting then began, during which UWM representatives had the opportunity to ask questions.
As part of the Inter-University Informatisation Centre (MUCI), there is an EDMS Competence Centre at the University of Gdańsk. The unit aims to provide support to potential and current partners at the following stages: pre-implementation, implementation and after the installation and start of use of the EDMS. Thanks to the EDM Competence Centre, the University of Gdańsk has the right to conduct training courses for employees of universities, which are members of MUCI, from all over Poland.
