UG's Scientific Cafes: cyberspace - threats and rescue

Phonoholism, cyber-bullying, fake news, digital hygiene and good practices in remote communication usage. These are some of the issues to be highlighted during the next open lecture in the Science Cafes series at the University of Gdańsk.

In the series of meetings, bringing the scientific activities of the University of Gdańsk employees closer to a broader audience on January 12, 2021, at 5 p.m. dr Marcin Szulc, Professor at the University of Gdańsk will conduct a lecture titled: Risky use of electronic media - how to help yourself and your children?

As the organisers stress, apart from the incredible benefits of accessing the unlimited resources of remote space, we are at the same time at risk, especially the youngest generations. What dangers do we face? What screening rules to apply? How to build a good relationship with a child? The lecturer will try to find answers to these questions.

Those who wish to participate interactively in the meeting have the opportunity to pose questions (until Monday, January 11, 2020, at oblicza.nauki@ug.edu.pl).
