Researchers at the University of Gdańsk and other universities which are members of the Association of Fahrenheit Universities, i.e. the Gdańsk University of Technology and the Medical University of Gdańsk, can take advantage of numerous training courses on preparing scientific articles.

During the second online training, conducted by dr inż. Katarzyna Gaca-Zając from Elsevier, scientific employees could learn, among other things, what to consider when choosing a journal to publish a paper.

The training took place on April 19. The participants heard, among other things, why the choice of a journal in the process of writing scientific articles is important. In the main part, the qualitative and quantitative criteria to be followed when choosing a journal were discussed, and at the end, the listeners' attention was drawn to the so-called predatory journals.
