The Students' Parliament of the University of Gdańsk invites you to take part in a holiday photo competition. The authors of the most interesting photos will receive university gadgets.
- 'After an atypical, difficult due to Covid-19 academic year, the time of longed-for holidays has come - trips, excursions, rest. Some of you will undoubtedly spend it in our beloved Tricity, others will go to different places to visit family, friends, explore new places or do a summer internship or work. But no matter where you will be this summer, you can take part in our photo competition "University Postcard from Summer Vacation",' - says Łukasz Bień, Head of the Office of the Students' Parliament of the University of Gdańsk.
How to take part in the competition?
The rules are very simple! You need to take a photo with a motif related to the University of Gdansk (it can be, for example, a photo of one of the UG buildings or a photo of you wearing clothes with the university logo) and send it to parlament.studentow@ug.edu.pl by September 20, 2021.
Get to work! The best photos will be rewarded with attractive prizes, including university gadgets.
- 'Taking part in the competition will enable you to share your holiday impressions with other members of the university community. Thanks to the photos we will find out where the students and staff travelled, whether they visited distant places or, on the contrary, spent their holidays enjoying the charming places of the Oliwa Campus such as EkoPark. Participants in the competition will not only be able to share accounts of their travels but also win attractive prizes. The most imaginative, aesthetic and interesting photos will be awarded by a committee including the Vice-Rector for Students and Quality of Education dr hab. Arnold Kłonczyński, professor of the University of Gdańsk and the Director of the Centre for Student and Doctoral Activities dr hab. Jacek Taraszkiewicz, professor of the University of Gdańsk,' - adds Łukasz Bień.
