Welcome days for Erasmus students
The Erasmus Student Exchange Office has prepared a series of attractive, informative and fun-packed events within the Orientation Week for the ERASMUS+ students starting their exchange at the UG in the summer semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The students come from various Programme countries, including : Croatia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia , Slovenia, Spain and Turkey.
The programme started with the welcome meeting. The students were equipped with essential information regarding their academic stay at our university and small welcome gifts. The meeting was kicked off with the intercultural communication lecture by prof. Natasza Kosakowska-Berezecka, which has turned out to be a great academic treat! The formal part of the introductory meeting was followed by the evening of fun and integration. In the charming rustic venue our foreign students had an excellent opportunity to try traditional Polish cuisine, break the ice and get to know their classmates better.
The Students had also a chance to meet and explore Gdansk firsthand by visiting local museums, landmarks and participating in the guided bus tour of Gdansk. Though it was kind of Gdańsk in a nutshell our students really enjoyed the events!
We wish all our exchange students academically beneficial and personally fulfilling stay at our university.
