On 18 June 2020, the General Meeting and Elections of AZS (Academic Sports Union) Community Organization in Gdańsk took place in the main building of Gdańsk University of Technology. Representatives of the University of Gdańsk have been selected to the AZS Regional Organization Management Board for the 2020-2021 term. Dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Wilde, prof. zw. PG, Rector of Gdańsk University of Technology has been appointed Chairman, whereas Piotr Walczak, Managing Director of AZS University of Gdańsk, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.
Following UG representatives will serve as board members for two years:
- Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, dr hab. Arnold Kłonczyński, prof. UG
- Managing director of AZS University of Gdańsk, Piotr Walczak (as Deputy Chairman)
- Deputy Head of CWFiS (Physical Education and Sports Section), Tomasz Aftański
Peer Tribunal will also comprise UG representatives:
- Head of CWFiS, dr Jan Patok
- Monika Trawczyńska
