More than 400 applications from 80 institutions from all over Poland, a wide range of topical issues, and an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience between the scientific community and the business sector - welcome to the 4th Young Science Congress. The event will take place on July 11-13, 2024.

As well as fulfilling a very important scientific role, the Young Science Congress is also a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between the world of science and the business sector, promoting an interdisciplinary approach to research and innovation. The Conference will include events related to a wide range of fields - from the sciences, through experimental sciences, to the humanities and social sciences. During the three days of meetings, participants will have the opportunity to discuss topics of interest to them and expand their knowledge or acquire new competencies.

The Congress will also feature plenary sessions. On the opening day, participants will be able to take part in a panel addressing such an important topic as corporate social responsibility (CSR), academies and community initiatives. This topic is extremely topical and highlights the growing importance of ethical and social aspects in business and academia. Dr hab. Anna Dziadkiewicz, prof. UG, Director of Sales and Marketing at Elis Textile Service Łukasz Neumann and the author and coordinator of the nationwide social project ‘Youth in the Centre’ Grzegorz Neumann will be the speakers and participants in the discussion.

The organisers also invite to the second plenary panel entitled. ‘Evaluation of education in Doctoral Schools in Poland’, which will be attended by, among others: Rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Chair of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Universities prof. dr hab. Bogumiła Kaniewska, Chairman of the Council of the University of Gdańsk dr hab. Dominik Antonowicz, prof. UMK, Chairman of the National Representation of Doctoral Students mgr Michał Klimczyk and Vice-Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists mgr Mariola Pirek.

The 4th Young Science Congress focuses on the development of young talents and promotes the building of international scientific networks. It is a unique opportunity for young scientists to present their research, gain valuable experience and establish new contacts that can contribute to future research projects and commercial ventures.

It is worth noting that issues related to sustainable development will be raised repeatedly during the Congress. For this reason, the organisers have decided to provide participants with vegan meals. It is hoped that such an initiative, in addition to discussions and exchange of views and experiences, will also help to promote sustainability in practice.

The programme for the event can be found here.

As a reminder, it will be possible to attend the Congress as a listener free of charge during all panels. No prior registration or declaration of participation is required.
