In the next match, AMP University of Gdańsk defeated PWSZ Tarnów 4:1.
In the last match of the Poznań competition, our players competed against KJ TSW Toruń. The stake was the fifth place in the general classification. After a regular time, the scoreboard showed a 1:1 draw, with the Toruń team winning in penalty kicks.
In the end, the University of Gdańsk took the sixth place in the general classification of all universities and the second place in the universities' classification.
- 'Futsal is the most popular team discipline in the Polish Academic Championship competitions. The level of competition is very high. On the roster of this year's Polish Champion WSG Bydgoszcz, we could see several players playing every day in the Statscore Futsal Ekstraklasa. The line-ups of other teams included other league players. The silver medal in the university classification is undoubtedly the success of our team, it's a bit unfortunate about the match against AWF Kraków, where we had a lot of situations to get a good result and promotion to the best four in the general classification. Well, that's sport. Now we are focused on fighting for league points in the first division, where we are currently the leaders,' commented Piotr Walczak, the president of AZS Uniwersytet Gdański.
