In line with the declaration on the establishment of The European University Of The Seas "SEA-EU", the University of Gdansk has commenced the implementation of the project’s activities.
The kick-off meeting in Cadiz, Spain initiated the development of the project. The meeting was attended by The University of Gdańsk representatives, comprising Professor Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek, Vice-Rector for IT Development and Internationalisation (Project Coordinator), Kamila Chomicz-Sokołowska, Head of International Office and Development Project Management Office staff: Ewa Weronis, Head and Marlena Rutkowska-Myzyk.
Meeting the SEA-EU objectives will require all partners: Universidad de Cádiz, Université de Bretagne Occidentale, Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, Sveučilište u Splitu and L-Università ta' Malta to collectively develop student and non-academic staff mobility programs, as well as tools for virtual mobility.
The University of Gdańsk has been entrusted to coordinate the Work Package: Increasing the level of mutual knowledge and integration between the SEA–EU Universities. The Work Package includes, among other things, analyzing the universities’ educational offer, legal rules and regulations and strategy for common resources sharing. The Work Package Coordinator is Professor Krzysztof Bielawski, Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with Business and Industry.
