Position of the KRASP Plenary Meeting

on the promotion of the COVID-19 vaccination programme

Dear Students and PhD Students, Academic Community!

Knowledge should play an appropriate role in society and the academic community in particular.

The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland is alarmed by the recent anti-vaccination speeches and attacks on HEIs for taking appropriate actions in this respect.

We are convinced that the implementation of the vaccination programme against COVID19 is fundamental for citizens' health, functioning of public institutions and economy. It is also a prerequisite for safe access to culture, education and the return to the normal functioning of the higher education system.

Therefore, guided by the idea of mutual respect and responsibility, we are convinced that thanks to the consistent implementation of vaccinations, we will soon be able to function together in conditions that do not threaten our health.
