To już 5 odsłona ABO UG. W czterech dotychczasowych edycjach konkursu, na terenie kampusów uniwersyteckich w Gdańsku Oliwie i Sopocie zrealizowanych zostało 12 projektów, 5 kolejnych pomysłów, które okazały się najlepsze w roku ubiegłym, są na etapie przygotowań do ich realizacji.
W tym roku czeka nas kilka istotnych zmian regulaminowych, w tym:
- likwidacja podziału na projekty pracownicze i studenckie;
- włączenie do konkursów tzw. projektów „miękkich” (wydarzeń);
- dwie kategorie projektów:
- Infrastruktura i wyposażenie – pomysły o charakterze infrastrukturalnym, obejmujące przedsięwzięcia inwestycyjne lub remontowe, a także projekty o charakterze materialnym, obejmujące zakup materiałów, urządzeń i wyposażenia;
- Wydarzenia i rekreacja – imprezy kulturalne (jak koncerty, spektakle, wystawy, pikniki), zawody i imprezy sportowe oraz eventy i akcje społeczne adresowane zarówno do studentów, doktorantów i pracowników naszej Uczelni, z pominięciem wydarzeń o wyłączenie naukowym charakterze (seminaria, konferencje, sympozja itd.),
- nowy podział środków:
- łączna pula środków ABO UG: 200 tys. zł
- kategoria: Infrastruktura i wyposażenie: 150 tys. zł
- kategoria: Wydarzenia i rekreacja: 50 tys. zł
- maksymalny koszt jednego projektu:
- w kategorii: Infrastruktura i wyposażenie: 70 tys. zł
- w kategorii: Wydarzenia i rekreacja: 10 tys. zł

Na zgłaszanie swoich pomysłów autorzy mają czas przez 4 tygodnie do 14 czerwca br.
Głosowanie na projekty w obu kategoriach odbędzie się w terminie
od 19 do 26 października, a ich wyniki poznamy na początku listopada br.

This is already the 5th edition of ABO UG. In the four previous editions of the competition, 12 projects have been completed on the university campuses in Gdańsk, Oliwa, and Sopot; five additional ideas, which proved to be the best last year, are currently in the preparation stage for implementation.
This year, we are facing several significant changes to the rules, including:
- elimination of the distinction between staff and student projects;
- inclusion of so-called “soft” projects (events) in the competitions;
- two project categories:
- Infrastructure and Equipment – infrastructure-related ideas, including investment or renovation projects, as well as material projects involving the purchase of materials, devices, and equipment;
- Events and recreation – cultural events (such as concerts, performances, exhibitions, picnics), competitions and sporting events, as well as social events and campaigns addressed to students, doctoral students, and employees of our University, excluding events of a purely academic nature (seminars, conferences, symposia, etc.),
- new allocation of funds:
- total ABO UG fund: 200,000 PLN
- category: Infrastructure and Equipment: 150,000 PLN
- category: Events and Recreation: 50,000 PLN
- maximum cost per project:
- in the category: Infrastructure and Equipment: 70,000 PLN
- in the category: Events and Recreation: 10,000 PLN

Authors have four weeks to submit their ideas, until June 14 of this year.
Voting on projects in both categories will take place
from October 19 to 26, and the results will be announced in early November of this year.
